I Am Blessed in This Living Stream
I met the Lord when I was a child in elementary school both from my grandmother reading me the Bible and the Christian school I attended. I accepted the Lord when I was 10 years old but did not have the full knowledge of my salvation until I was an adult and answered an altar call to receive my salvation in a Pentecostal large revival meeting altar call.
My husband and I both came to the church life through my praying of Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:17 -21 for one year. At the time I did not know that I was pray-reading –the word as a prayer back to the Lord. After one year, the Lord led us both to the church through a brother at our job. We have enjoyed drinking the living water, and eating the Lord for the past thirty-five years along with gaining Him day by day with all the saints. We were very blessed to have personally met Brother Witness Lee, along with receiving his dispensing of the Triune God into spirit, spreading into our soul daily.
My vision is that the Lord is a stream flowing throughout the Bible that begins in the book of Genesis and keeps flowing throughout the Old Testament, and in the New Testament this flowing stream becomes a river flowing through Jesus to become our redemption that pours out of His side on the cross producing many grains – the church. As the river keeps flowing through the twelve apostles after the Lord’s death, resurrection and ascension and all the Christians since this time, it becomes even more illuminated in the Body of Christ today, since we are the representative of Jesus Christ now on the earth. This vision has grown each year of our church life seeing Christ included as the Triune God in every word of the Bible consummating not in heaven or a material building but we as the Bride becoming the New Jerusalem.
I close my eyes and the Lord shows me a river of water of life bright as crystal proceeding out of the throne flows in us still in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 22:1). The Bible begins and ends with the flowing river and the Tree of Life. This is my story and this is my life and my church life.
